Famed DJ/Producer and EDM heavyweight Artem ‘Arty’ Stoliarov a.k.a. ARTY continues to surprise the dance community.
Even amidst a global pandemic, Arty’s momentum shows no signs of slowing. Arty began quarantine with 75 consecutive days in the studio and has already released 20 of (at least) 25 records scheduled for 2020.
After hitting #1 on US Dance Radio with his single “Save Me Tonight”, Arty decided he wanted to focus on music that could transport fans back to the 2012 “glory days” of progressive house. Together with a handful of collaborators from Russia, Arty debuted a series of club-centric, hard hitting electro house EPs, called “From Russia With Love.”
Now, ARTY is geared up to release some of his greatest work to date, including his upcoming sophomore album, which will begin rolling out at the start of 2021.
ARTY has built an international following mixing his trademark big-room anthems with downtempo electronica year over year, showcasing his gift for translating club-focused sounds to the pop/radio format. With nods to classic trance, Arty continues to produce under the moniker ALPHA 9, and is currently working on his first ever ALPHA 9 album.
With an XS Encore Las Vegas residency under his belt, and a pedigree of performances at Ultra, Electric Daisy Carnival, Tomorrowland, Ushuaïa, Amnesia Ibiza, and Creamfields, Arty has established himself as one of the music industry's most consistent artists, a prodigious talent, and has become a go-to for others artists, crafting immensely popular remixes for Skrillex, Axwell /\ Ingrosso, Armin Van Buuren, Halsey, Surf Mesa, OneRepublic, London Grammar, Above & Beyond, Porter Robinson, Years & Years, and many more.
Today, Arty resides in Russia with his family and closest friends. When he’s not producing music or eating his mom’s mashed potatoes, Arty spends his downtime dominating League of Legends and FIFA, or sinking into single-player narratives. In 2018 he released “Velvet” on Ninjawerks — the first-ever dance music & gaming collaboration soundtrack. He is also a fan of the Real Madrid and AC Milan soccer franchises, and the Washington Capitals hockey team.
Following on from a year full of exciting productions and breathtaking singles such as his #1 Billboard Dance charting collab with Audien and Ellee Duke called ‘Craving’, ARTY sets the bar sky-high with his first track of 2021. Ripe with gorgeous piano chords, striking harmonies and brilliantly colorful vocals that radiate patience and positivity, ‘Take Your Time’ is a typical ARTY production that shines bright even in the darkest of days. “‘Take Your Time’ is a very personal song about the right and wrong times in your life”.
ARTY explains:
“It doesn’t always go the way you expect or want, but you need to be patient about things coming the way you manifest them, because eventually the time will be right. Although the song was written back in 2020 right before COVID started, I feel it hits the nail right on the head considering the times we live in now. I really hope that ‘Take Your Time’ will resonate with the listeners and make their day a little bit brighter, because we need to believe that the good days will come.”
